Tonight’s AEW Dark Elevation episode will feature eight matches, with the return of Paul Wight in the ring.
Tonight’s episode will see Austin Green taking on Wight. Wight was interviewed on this episode at Columbia’s Colonial Life Arena. In an earlier interview Wight said that he had asked Tony Khan, AEW President, to book him on Dynamite but was instead offered a match on Elevation.
This is Wight’s fourth match with AEW. The former Big Show wrestler made his AEW debut in the ring last September with a win against QT Marshall at All Out. He then won two 3-on-1 Handicap matches on Elevation. In September, he defeated RSP, CPA, and VSK, then he defeated Cole Karter and Carlie Bravo in October. This is his first match since then.
