A veteran of the ring for a long time, Barry Horowitz, will be taking part in his first professional wrestling match since 2013. It’s coming Wednesday, March 13. WrestlePro will be hosting the event. Horowitz will compete for a one-on-one with “The Big Boy” Joey Janela.
Last summer, Horowitz was a guest on our Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast, and in the course of the discussion, Horowitz revealed that WWE Network worked on a documentary based around his.
“I received a phone contact from the chief producer of The WWE Network. They made a documentary about me in December last year at Florida,” Horowitz said. “It was fantastic, and they even flew me there and treated me like a first-class. In a follow-up, the team came to WrestleStock (a fan-run event during WrestleMania week just a few months ago for a video of me signing autographs. They also spoke with the fans at the event.
“I am only just being informed that the release was delayed by a couple of months. It was scheduled to release in July or June,” Horowitz revealed. “I’m informed that it will be either a two-hour or hour-long documentary. I’m sure I’m the very first to be interviewed, but other people were interviewed. So, I’m in touch with WWE currently and am looking forward to news.”
While it isn’t out yet, we’ll keep you informed of further developments. Tickets for WrestlePro Rock N Forever can be purchased online through the website.
