The SummerSlam go-home edition of WWE RAW opens live in “New York City”, with The Miz and Logan Paul fighting. They continue fighting, but WWE officials keep them apart. Jimmy Smith welcomes us to the show from ringside by himself with Byron Saxton and Corey Graves. The replay shows how Paul came to the ring before RAW hit the air, with a microphone, to call out The Miz. The Miz then came out and they started brawling before RAW hit the air on USA Network. Paul and Miz are finally separated forever!
The Bloodline, Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, emerge from the backstage ramp as the pyros go off. Sensing the reception for them, they drop their titles and walk straight to the ring. At this point, Mike Rome introduces them as the opportunity for them to garner some cheers and boos from the crowd at The World’s Most Famous Arena comes their way.
Heyman stops the music and says that The BloodLine stands tall. Some fans boo, but others are chanting Roman’s name now as Heyman places the microphone in his hand. Reigns tells Madison Square Garden to acknowledge him and Reigns says he doesn’t feel like talking anymore. Heyman takes the mic and hypes Reigns up, like only he can. Heyman then hypes up Brock Lesnar by listing some of his accomplishments, adding that Lesnar will now try to ruin Reigns’ party at SummerSlam this weekend. Heyman says this is why his Tribal Chief takes it so personally–Reigns is tired of Lesnar’s legacy being tied into his own, so they’re sick of Lesnar riding on the coattails of Reigns’ name, and it’s time for Lesnar to go back to Saskatchewan and slaughter hogs. Some fans boo but others chant “Roman!” and many more are screaming “You F***ing Sore Loser!”
Tonight at SummerSlam, The Crowd went wild for Theory when the Music of power disturbed. The rules changed during the contract-less Battle Royal to have a new briefcase competitor. Debate over who should win burst by the reappearance of Bobby Lashley and his dream opponent for tonight, WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns. With this sudden development in place, it was time for someone else to step in. Debate about what happens with the new one lasts little time, as a confident and strong voice is heard from the stage – “I’m back!”
Vinnie Mac’s retirement draws a response from The WWE Universe. The fans chant “daddy’s gone!” after Vince McMahon announces his decision and that the WWE is now Reigns’ Ring, The Tribal Chief angered by this comment and looks to initiate conflict with the challenger. Vinnie Mac, on the other hand, holds no grudge against his son and simply leaves the ring smiling. The two rivals face off until The Usos walk out with their fearless leader. The two factions face off before moving to a commercial break.
Theory vs Drew McIntyre
Now back from the break, Theory is starting to enter the ring with his Money in the Bank briefcase. He’s the youngest Mr. Money In the Bank of WWE history and says that’s how he deserves to be introduced. He talks about Roman Reigns, but then Roman interrupts with a surprise arrival and out comes Drew McIntyre with his sword and Angela by his side as Drew marches down to the ring as well.
Using an earlier blow from the turnbuckle to help launch Theory across the ring, Drew hits him with a series of punches and kicks before following up with strikes and clotheslines.
With a buzzsaw kick, Theory counters a move and knocks Drew back into the corner. Theory then beats Drew down to jeers. Theory teases their chest of Drew but he comes out with a backbreaker. Drew then catches Theory with a clothesline across the ring. Theory drops Theory with a Future Shock DDT and then puts him away with a sleeper hold in the corner.
Drew calls for the Claymore Kick but Theory rolls out of the way to avoid getting pinned and regroups as the fans boo. Drew follows with a kick, and then slams him into the barrier. He turns it around for an advantage and drops Theory off the announce table’s edge. Drew goes to the commercial.

After the match, Corey stands tall as the music hits, and replays start. There’s talk of a contract signing with The Usos, but they turn around to leave and they’re met with a double superkick from Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos. The champions stand over Corey now, laughing in his face. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns comes down to the stage with Paul Heyman now. There’s threats for Theory to make the right decision about SummerSlam at his expense, as The Usos blasts by on their music.
-The announcers show a video of Rey Mysterio’s WWE debut on their July 25th, 2002 episode of SmackDown. They also emphasize his accomplishments during his career. Kurt Angle and John Cena analyze Rey alongside Kevin Owens, Batista, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, AJ Styles and JBL. Rey stated that without wrestling his career would have been the biggest disappointment in his life while Dominik retired after the match.

Everyone is back from the break and AJ Styles is now making his entrance. Out next comes Alpha Academy with Chad Gable and Otis. Gable complains about how AJ and Ziggler aren’t a real tag team, and he can expose their weak spot right away by showing them how much better a genuine, original team would do. Ziggler starts off with Gable, beating him mercilessly while taunting.

The Bloodline vs Riddle and The Street Profits
Roman Reigns and The Usos enter the ring, accompanied by Paul Heyman, to start off their main event. They raise their championship belts as pyro goes off after a commercial break.
Back from the break, The Street Profits take on The Bloodline. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins lock up. Riddle comes in next and receives a fan’s selfie. Jimmy and Dawkins start things off. Cruel Dawkins with offensive out of the gates, launching Ford into Jimmy for a two count. Jey comes in to take over as Hopkins ropes Ford in. Jey unleashes on Ford and uses the middle rope on him to win the day.
