Renee Paquette has become a staple of All Elite Wrestling since joining the promotion in October 2022 as a backstage interviewer and producer. Over the years, she’s had the opportunity to interact with some of AEW’s biggest names, creating unforgettable moments along the way. In a recent conversation with Denise Salcedo, Paquette shared which AEW talents she enjoys interviewing the most.
One standout name on her list is Harley Cameron. “Harley is right here, she’s one of my favorites,” Paquette revealed. “Whether she’s got the puppet, is singing a song, or bringing something completely unexpected, I love working with her.”
Another favorite of Paquette’s is Swerve Strickland. “I love Swerve. He’s incredibly talented and brings so much to the table,” she said. Strickland, a former AEW World Champion, has carved out a unique space in AEW, blending his wrestling prowess with his passion for music.
Paquette also spoke about the incredible depth of talent in AEW. “You can’t walk through AEW without running into a legend or a future legend. It’s truly the best environment with so many great people.”
Harley Cameron has made waves in AEW by incorporating her skills in rapping, ventriloquism, and singing into her performances. Ahead of AEW Grand Slam Australia, she took things up a notch by delivering rapid-fire lyrics aimed at TBS Champion Mercedes Mone, with a little help from her puppet. Meanwhile, Strickland has also embraced his musical talents, using rap to amplify his already electric presence in the ring.
Currently, Paquette’s AEW contracts are set for three years, meaning they are expected to expire in late 2025. Whether she will re-sign with the company remains to be seen, but for now, she continues to be a key figure behind the scenes and on-screen in AEW’s ever-growing landscape.
