The night’s action started with the Kickoff Show grudge match between The Miz and Rey Mysterio.
Mysterio survived an early storm, fighting against his former WWE champion and dissapointing him. As The A-Lister tried to get up off the floor Dominik Mysterio ordered him back to the squared circle, where he was forced to face the wrath and ire of his father.
Miz reduced his speed and cut his opponent down and then putting him to the mat. He screamed at that he had Dominik in the ring and began to uncork an assault of punches at on the back of Dominik.
The mysterious Mysterio took Miz out of his element, shook his elbow and threw him head-first into the ring post using the head. A senton seated and a springboard crossbody got him a two-count for the Master from the 619.
In the final moments of the match, Miz took a page from the playbook of Eddie Guerrero by pretending to be hit by a chair made of steel by Dominik. After the young contestant was exiled from the ring, The A-Lister thought he could figure it all out. But instead, Mysterio countered the Skull-Crushing Finale into a roll-up to secure victory.
Following the game, Rey and Dominik delivered an impressive double 619. They were and then followed by two Frog splashes to smack the crowd.
