Roman Reigns, the dominant and undisputed WWE Universal Champion, holds an unyielding belief that nobody in the WWE can end his historic title reign, not even his own cousin, The Rock.
For close to three years, Reigns has reigned supreme as the top champion in the Stamford-based company, vanquishing formidable challengers like Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, and John Cena, all of whom failed to capture the coveted gold.
Amidst rumors of The Rock’s potential return to WWE for a dream match against Reigns at WrestleMania, the epic showdown did not materialize. Nevertheless, speculation remains high about the Hollywood megastar eventually confronting The Tribal Chief.
In a recent interview with First Take, Reigns was questioned about the possibility of The Rock returning to dethrone him, and whether he perceived any other challenger as a potential threat to his title reign. With unwavering confidence, Reigns responded:

“[Is there anybody you think can take this from you? I mean, what if The Rock decides to return and goes up against you? That could be a possibility. Is there anybody that you can foresee taking all of this from you one day?] We don’t see it, no. I mean, that’s what this past year, [a] year and a half, has been, contenders from everywhere. Brock Lesnar, [and] John Cena, they come from Hollywood, they come from other sports, Logan Paul, it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter anymore. Head and shoulders above everybody. It’s not even funny anymore,” Reigns confidently stated.
As Reigns remains steadfast in his belief that no one can dethrone him, he must now face another formidable opponent at WWE SummerSlam 2023, none other than his cousin, Jey Uso. The highly anticipated clash will determine the Undisputed WWE Universal Title and Head of the Table status under the intense stipulation of Tribal Combat.
Veteran wrestler Konnan, sharing his insights on a previous episode of Keepin’ It 100, suggested that SummerSlam could be the perfect platform for Jey Uso to seize the spotlight and potentially defeat Reigns, thus receiving the coveted rub from the dominant champion.
While Reigns’ babyface turn is inevitable, there seems to be a lingering obstacle delaying this transformation, according to a WWE veteran.
As the WWE Universe eagerly awaits the outcome of the momentous SummerSlam encounter and speculates on the potential return of The Rock, Roman Reigns stands resolute as the impregnable and undisputed ruler of the WWE Universal Championship.
