In his final-ever WWE live events match, Roman Reigns may have retired from wrestling. He took the Sunday Stunner in Cedar Rapids, Iowa last night.
After defeating Drew McIntyre in his main event match, “The Tribal Chief” gave his customary after-event speech thanking fans at the event. After Reigns said this, he finished by saying that he might be done with live WWE events.

“From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate all of ya’ll,” Roman Reigns said. “I obviously had the Internet talking last week or the week before that. I’m not going to be doing too many live events like these, on Sundays, in the future. So, this could be my last one.”
As of this moment, Reigns is only advertised for four events in the month of July. That includes Money in the Bank on July 2nd, Smackdown Live on July 25th, SummerSlam on July 30th, and Clash at the Castle on September 3rd.
Reigns signed a new WWE contract recently to reduce the number of dates he works.
