During a recent interview with Jimmy Traina for the SI Media Podcast, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins discussed his real-life wife Becky Lynch, and Becky pursuing the WWE Women’s Championship, along with a potential matchup between Lynch and reigning champion Rhea Ripley. Seth Rollins on Becky Lynch:
“I think she has her eyes on the prize. We are a family of winners, she wants to be a champion. I know she would love to be Women’s World Champion and I know she has her eyes on Rhea Ripley. At some point, those paths will cross, I guarantee you. Whether I’m involved or not, time will tell.”
On fans wanting to see the Lynch vs. Ripley matchup: “I think they want to see Becky and Rhea, I think that’s the thing. I don’t know if people are clamoring so much to see Becky and I interact on screen as much as they are just seeing how can this maybe lead to Becky Lynch vs. Rhea Ripley in some capacity because that’s such a dream match for a lot of our fans.”

Lynch is currently in the midst of a feud with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Their matchup will take place on WWE Raw on August 14 at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It will be broadcast live on USA Network.
