On the 4th of November, WWE released several main roster players and NXT players from contracts. they cited as a result of budget reductions.
These stars include Karrion Kross Nia Jax Keith Lee, Mia Yim, Ember Moon, Davey Boy Smith Jr, Oney Lorcan, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Eva Marie, Franky Monet B-Fab Scarlett Bordeaux, Trey Baxter, Jessi Kamea, Jeet Rama, Zayda Ramier and Katrina Cortez.
NXT wrestlers were only granted clauses for non-compete of 30 days that expired in December. This includes Lorcan, Monet, Baxter, Kamea, Rama, Ramier, and Cortez.
The rest of the names listed above were on main rosters and therefore couldn’t be signed with any other organization for 90 days which ended on the day of today. Now, they are able to choose any promotions they wish, such as AEW, Impact Wrestling, NJPW, NWA, and MLW.
For names like Kross, Lee, Yim, Moon, Lorcan, and Scarlette These are expected to be big-name signings, but it’s not clear what promotions will take them on.
