After returning in the WWE Royal Rumble, Vince McMahon’s son is back to take part in more action.
Following his return for the women’s WWE Royal Rumble match Saturday, Shane McMahon is booked for both the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 38, as per the WWE‘s Dave Meltzer. It’s unknown who those matches will be against.
“Mac Mahon has a match on the books but it was said to have not been finalized a few days ago which is evidently why they did no angle with him at the Rumble.”
Meltzer
The 52-year old wrestler entered the Rumble at the number 28 spot but was shut out by the eventual champion Brock Lesnar. McMahon appeared last in the arena during WrestleMania 37. He lost the steel cage match against Braun Strowman. This was his first fight since October 2019, when McMahon was eliminated from a career match against. Career ladder match to Kevin Owens.
The Elimination Chamber will be held in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, 19 February. It will be McMahon’s 4th appearance in a fight there, dating to 2018. McMahon was a part of The Greatest Royal Rumble, won the World Cup final over Dolph Ziggler in two matches that year, and defeated Roman Reigns in 2019.
This will be the sixth WrestleMania match, dating back to 2001.
