“Stone Cold” Steve Austin will appear at WrestleMania 38.
In Monday’s episode of Raw, Kevin Owens called on Austin to be on his show KO Show at night one of WrestleMania 38. WWE has then released the video of Austin taking up Owens’ challenge.

Whether you want to call this a KO Show, a match, a fight, a brawl, whatever. I will guarantee you this,” Austin said. “In Dallas, Texas, where I started my career, at WrestleMania, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin is gonna open up one last can of whoop-ass on you, Kevin Owens. And that’s the bottom line, ’cause Stone Cold said so.
As we approach WrestleMania, Owens has been talking trash about the state of Texas on WWE television. Owens said last night:
Nothing would make him happier than beating the hell out of Austin in Austin’s home state and giving him a stunner that the world would talk about for years.
Dave Meltzer reported while Owens vs. Austin had been discussed as a match for WrestleMania:
They will have a confrontation, but it is not clear if that will be a match or not anymore.
It’s essentially up to Austin at this point. They want the match, they thought they had the match and Steve…there’s a reason he hasn’t wrestled in 19 years. I just know that as of Friday, he had not agreed to do the match even though it was on the books. Now, it’s on the books as a confrontation.
Austin isn’t wrestling since he faced The Rock at WrestleMania XIX in 2003. WrestleMania 38 will be held in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on April 2 and Sunday, April 3.
