As told before; Stone Cold Steve Austin will appear for The KO Show presented by Kevin Owens, during “WrestleMania Saturday” on April 2 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It may be just an argument rather than a match. But whatever it is will likely be the main event on night one of WrestleMania 38.
The whole story
In the wake of not being able to claim titles in the Raw tag team titles in march, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins were left with no obvious match for WrestleMania 38. Owens was excluded from the ‘Mania three years prior, and It’s not sure if it’s right to blame Owens for being worried about the possibility of it happening again.
Like Rollins, Owens came up with an effective plan to secure his place on the most prestigious professional wrestling event of the season: Talk shit about the state of Texas and call out Stone Cold Steve Austin:
Austin responded by accepting Owens’ invitation and saying he has one last can of whoop-ass to open up on KO:
Austin hasn’t appeared live on Raw during this story, so Owens had to carry the load by himself.
However, Austin couldn’t figure out things for this to be an official match at WrestleMania 38. Therefore, Stone Cold’s return is taking place on a talk show. It’s been stated every time that both guys are coming to WrestleMania in order to smack the other one’s back.
According to the rumor mill, Austin is likely to be hit by a few bumps. There could be more to this fight than the typical post-retirement segment of Steve which include a stunner and a beer party. It’s a good bet since it appears that this is going to be the highlight of “WrestleMania Saturday”. This is the closest thing we’ve ever come to a match from Austin since he retired from in-ring action in 2003. This fight is likely to end with a Stone Cold Stunner or three, and KO laying unconscious on the mat soaking from Austin’s celebratory beer bash in Texas.
