Now that summer is almost over, WWE will end the season on a good note. On August 5, WWE’s SummerSlam event will take place in Detroit.
SummerSlam will be held at Ford Field, which hasn’t been used for a WWE show since WrestleMania 23 in 2007. Outside of the U.S., the show will be shown on the WWE Network.
Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Asuka, who are all big names in WWE, are all on stage. Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, and Logan Paul, who are more than just wrestlers, will also be there.
Who will leave SummerSlam with the gold and the right to brag?

Here is a list of all of the events that will happen at SummerSlam. We don’t know the exact order, but we do know what matches will happen.
Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar 3 at WWE SummerSlam 2023
Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar 3 will be one of the best fights on the show.
After WrestleMania, on the RAW show afterward, Lesnar attacked Rhodes after suggesting a tag team with him. No one ever said why the betrayal happened. Rhodes beat Lesnar at Backlash with a rollup after Lesnar had won most of the fight. Lesnar got his payback on Rhodes at Night of Champions by breaking his arm and putting him to sleep with an armbar, which caused Rhodes to pass out.
A few months later, Lesnar came back and attacked Rhodes. Rhodes challenged him to a fight and said he didn’t fear “The Beast Incarnate.” The trilogy match between the two will settle everything.
Bet Online says that Rhodes is the favorite at -800, while Lesnar is the loser at +425.

Roman Reigns (c) protects the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat match.
Roman Reigns also defends his position as Tribal Chief.
On a recent show of SmackDown, The Usos gave Reigns a superkick, which caused the Bloodline to fall apart. In a “Bloodline Civil War” tag match at Money in the Bank, Jey pinned Reigns. This was the first time in three years that Reigns had been defeated.
The fight is a rematch from 2020, when Reigns beat Jey in a Hell in a Cell match, making Jey to join The Bloodline.

Bet Online says that Reigns is the favorite to keep the Undisputed WWE Universal Title, with odds of -2000, while Jey is the outsider, with odds of +700.
Finn Balor (c) vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins (c) for the World Heavyweight Title
Seth “Freakin'” Rollins defends the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Finn Balor in a repeat from Money in the Bank. Rollins beat Balor to keep the belt, and Balor would not let go of the loss.
Balor beat Rollins for the Universal Title at SummerSlam in 2016, but he was hurt by a powerbomb from Rollins on the outside barrier, which kept him out of action for months.
BetOnline says that Rollins is the favorite at -160 to keep the WWE World Heavyweight Title, while Balor is the loser at +120.
Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair will fight Asuka for the WWE Women’s Title.
Asuka protects the WWE Women’s Title against Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair, both of whom have held the title before.
At the Night of Champions event, Asuka won the title by beating Bianca Belair. Belair wanted a rematch, but Flair stopped her. Flair then faced Asuka, but Belair got in the way and caused Flair to lose. Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL has a Money in the Bank purse, so the other three will be careful around her.
Bet Online says that Asuka is the favorite at -120 to keep the WWE Women’s Title. Flair and Belair are next at (+175) and (+250), respectively.
Gunther (c) vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Intercontinental Title
Gunther defends the WWE Intercontinental Title against Drew McIntyre and hopes to break the Honky Tonk Man’s record for the longest single-reign title run.
Gunther has been the champion since June 2022. At WrestleMania, he beat Sheamus and McIntyre in a match that could have been the Match of the Year.
McIntyre took a break, but when he came back for Money in the Bank, he made it clear what he wanted to do. After that, they decided to fight at SummerSlam.
Bet Online says that Gunther is the favorite to keep the WWE Intercontinental Title, with odds of -500, while McIntyre is the outsider, with odds of +300.
Ricochet vs. Logan Paul
Logan Paul goes up against Ricochet, who is a high-flyer.
All of this goes back to the Royal Rumble, when Paul and Ricochet did a flying clothesline from opposite sides of the ring. There was no follow-up until Paul joined Ricochet in a Money in the Bank ladder match. Ricochet used a move called a “Spanish Fly” to send Paul through several tables, and an angry Paul attacked Ricochet after the fight. They agreed to fight at SummerSlam after that.
Bet Online says that Logan Paul is the favorite at -400, while Ricochet is the loser at +250.
Shayna Baszler vs. Ronda Rousey
Ronda Rousey meets Shayna Baszler in a fight between two of the Four Horsewomen of MMA.
Years ago, Rousey chose Baszler to be on her team for The Ultimate Fighter. Later, she teamed up with Baszler in WWE, and the two of them won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. During a title defense at Money in the Bank, Baszler turned on Rousey, which cost him the titles and ended their friendship.
Baszler later did promos in which she said that Rousey joined WWE because of her. After fighting for weeks, they decided to “fight” at SummerSlam.
Bet Online says that Shayna Baszler is the favorite with odds of -800, while Ronda Rousey is the outsider with odds of +425.
Battle Royal at SummerSlam
It was revealed that Raw and Smackdown stars will take part in a battle royal at the event. Sheamus and LA Knight will be the first two people to compete in the battle royal. Right now, we don’t know what the winner will get.
