As the excitement builds for SummerSlam, Charlotte Flair is gearing up for a major Women’s Championship match. However, her recent victory on SmackDown came at the expense of Women’s Tag Team Champion, Chelsea Green, who faced a nightmare-ish experience on a flight to RAW and was grateful to be deboarded.
On the July 28 episode of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair pinned Chelsea Green in a tag team match also involving Bianca Belair. Green and her partner, Sonya Deville, had recently won the Women’s Tag Team Titles, but their luck hasn’t been great since then, and things only got worse for Green after her defeat.
Sharing her ordeal on Twitter, Green described being stuck on a flight in Florida without air conditioning, a challenging situation given the region’s notorious heat. Thankfully, she expressed relief upon being deboarded from what she called the “flight from hell.”
“Thank you sweet baby Jesus we are off the plane. I am still alive, though mildly dehydrated & v sweaty… Next stop, FOOD & WATER before they reboard us on the flight from hell,” tweeted Green.

However, her frustration didn’t end with the flight incident. After the loss to Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair, Green took to Twitter to praise herself and Sonya Deville while accusing WWE of being paid to post embarrassing videos of their defeat. Despite her success in WWE so far, some fans were displeased to see a champion like Green being pinned by Flair merely for a storyline moment between her and Belair.
As of now, it remains uncertain if the Women’s Tag Team Titles will be defended at SummerSlam. The event is shaping up to be a thrilling spectacle, and fans are eagerly awaiting what unfolds in the Women’s Championship bout and beyond.
