Vincent Kennedy McMahon has had a long and successful career in the world of professional wrestling. He is currently serving as the chairman and chief executive officer of WWE, the largest professional wrestling promotion in the world. He is also the founder and owner of Alpha Entertainment. McMahon started his career by working as an promoter for minor regional promotions before joining Georgia Championship Wrestling (GCW) in 1979. In 1980, he acquired Capitol Wrestling Corporation (PWF), which would later become World Wrestling Federation (WWF). McMahon was able to consolidate control over WWF during the early 1990s, leading to its merger with Turner Broadcasting System in 1996. After buying WCW from Ted Turner in 2001, he merged it into WWE two years later. McMahon is one of only three individuals who have held all three major world championships at once: WWF/E Main Event Champion, WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
