Fans voted Lee the winner of Tough Enough’s sixth season in 2015 and her story was compared to that of Josh Bredl, a future WWE Superstar. Unlike the other finalists, Lee won the season and posed with the independent stars Chelsea Green and Raquel. Lee has wrestled throughout Florida during her brief time with the “NXT” live events company in 2016. Her most recent appearance was at NXT Takeover: Orlando on May 24th where she teamed up with Becky Lynch and Nia Jax to defeat Emma and Dana Brooke. Lee is a talented wrestler who I’m excited to see continue her career in the near future. As a heel, she picked up some tag victories. Her lone singles win during her time with WWE was against none other than current SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan.
Wrestler Lee had not wrestle since 2016 when she was released from her WWE contract. She had resumed training in the Team Vision Dojo in Florida, but never returned to the ring.
Tributes pour in after wrestling legend’s death. WWE’s Braun Strowman, who was a friend of Lee’s husband Westin Blake, took to Twitter to share a message about holding “the ones you love a little tighter,” writing, “After hearing the news of a very close friends wife passing this hits so very hard!!!!!”
