WWE Superstar The Fiend made a surprise return during WWE WrestleMania Backlash. On Twitter, Pat McAfee served as an insider to the surprise.
As Rousey and Flair fought near the barricade, one fan dressed as The Fiend could be seen. Although it is unclear if he was indeed McAfee’s backstage guest, Pat pointed this person out in a tweet.
The commentator said The Fiend even though they are no longer an employee of the company. McAfee commented that he recognized Fiend in the crowd, and it got Michael Cole interested.
The Fiend was trending on Twitter because of The Fiend’s appearance at WWE‘s live event. Fans found it surprising that the wrestler was mentioned because he has not been in a professional match since WrestleMania 37 when Randy Orton beat him.
