WWE has the dates and location for WrestleMania 39 lined up, no changes. The stadium that was originally going to host WrestleMania 38 this year is because of COVID-19 pandemic that WWE had to change up its WrestleMania plans multiple times and got shunted around with WrestleMania 36 being inside an empty WWE Performance Center, WrestleMania 37 being hosted at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium with a limited crowd and WrestleMania 38 taking place at Dallas’ AT&T Stadium.
Dave Meltzer notes on Wrestling Observer Radio this week that Las Vegas is planning to host WrestleMania 40 next year and would use Allegiant Stadium. The match that ended this year’s Wrestlemania with Roman Reigns defeating Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE and Universal Championships.
Many are anticipating a rematch between “The Sting” and “the Rock” in 2019’s main event.
“Reigns is holding up both titles, showing that his achievements are on a level of greatness with moments from time immemorial,” Heyman wrote in the caption on Reigns’s Instagram post. “Both of our dreams have come true and now it’s time for new dreams and new pursuits.”
