The Long-Awaited Return: AEW Star Makes an Epic Comeback After More Than a Year

A former champion is making the most of the opportunity AEW Collision has provided for lesser-used stars.

In October 2019, Scorpio Sky and Frankie Kazarian became AEW’s inaugural Tag Team Champions when they defeated the Lucha Brothers in a tournament final against the Lucha Brothers.

Sky formed the Men of the Year tag team with Ethan Page after SCU split, ultimately winning the TNT Championship with Dan Lambert.

Scorpio Sky lost the TNT Championship to Wardlow on the 6th of July 2022, and then disappeared from AEW TV screens for over a year.

Sky is back and despite Regina, Saskatchewan possibly being the worst town he’s ever experienced, he beat Action Andretti on Collision in his return to the AEW ring.
