Teil Runnels, the sister of Cody and Dustin Rhodes, recently shared her thoughts on the possibility of Dustin re-signing with WWE. While Cody made his return to WWE in 2022 after spending three years in AEW, Dustin has had six separate stints with WWE between 1990 and 2019. Currently, the 54-year-old is working for AEW as both a coach and in-ring competitor.
When asked about the likelihood of Dustin returning to WWE, Teil expressed uncertainty. She also made a prediction that fans might not see her brothers wrestle each other again, considering the iconic match they had at AEW Double or Nothing 2019, which played a significant role in establishing the company’s success.
While Teil acknowledged that Dustin is currently under contract with AEW, she couldn’t definitively say whether he would wrestle for WWE again. However, she firmly believes that Dustin will eventually be honored with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, given his extensive history with the company and his contributions to the wrestling world as Goldust.
Aside from her insights on Dustin, Teil’s mother, Michelle founded The Dusty Rhodes Foundation in 2022. This non-profit organization aims to inspire and support youth athletes in underserved communities, and donations are welcome to support their cause.

Teil’s admiration for her brother’s talent and achievements leads her to believe that Dustin deserves a place in the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame, even if a return to WWE remains uncertain.
In the same interview, Teil also shared her reaction to the stunning incident where Brock Lesnar attacked Cody Rhodes in front of their family during the July 17 episode of RAW, which added further complexity and emotions to the ongoing rivalry between Cody and Lesnar in WWE.
