People often associate bodybuilding with stages, but the foundation of the sport lies in the gyms around the world where you can find champions training. One such gym is Deezel Gym in Arizona, and its owner felt that connection well because he lives out the bodybuilding lifestyle himself.
The 2012 North American Champion was Isabelle Turell’s guest on the “Fit Rockstar Show,” but another title that he felt was a prestigious one was the NPC USA Championship.
“I just love that show,” he told Turell. “It’s the best of the best.”
Farrow’s identity on the bodybuilding circuit may be a result of the strong connection he felt for the United States. He migrated from England to America when he was 10, and after making a round trip, his family finally ended up in America. His love of bodybuilding goes back as far as when he was that young. He mowed lawns so he could support himself with extra money.
“The first money I made, I went down to the BX, and I bought myself a junior barbell set,” he recalled. “That was the first purchase I ever made. I just wanted to be bigger. I just wanted more muscle.”
As the owner of Deezel Gym, he gets to stay involved in an industry that he thinks did a lot for him throughout his life. The increased number of weight-training equipment available as a result of selling the gym has allowed him to keep training and working out.
“Bodybuilding has given me so much, and this is my way to give back. I want to help people through bodybuilding.”
