Tiffany Stratton, who was aggressively pushed during Wednesday night’s July 31 episode of Raw, is still regarded highly by WWE.
Following the Great American Bash, yesterday night’s NXT was promoted throughout Raw, and it was all centred around one person. Tiffany Stratton, the NXT Women’s Champion.
It seems like Stratton has even joined the alliterative nickname club that Vince McMahon has lately established because there wasn’t even a mention of anyone else during the NXT promo video that played on Raw as it was all focused on the newly dubbed “Blockbuster Blonde.”
The new Barbie movie served as inspiration for the theme of the advertisement, which matches Stratton’s frequent references to herself as the “Buff Barbie” rather well.

This isn’t the first time WWE has emphasised Stratton to promote NXT; last time, Spring Breakin’ saw an increase in viewers, which WWE executives mostly ascribed to the advertising on Raw that featured Stratton in particular, just like it did last night.
After two solid weeks due to the merging of Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley, we’ll see if the Stratton push results in another strong night for NXT in the ratings.
