The Best Friends are four members of the AEW roster – Beretta, Chuck Taylor, Orange Cassidy, and Kris Statlander. Recently, Ryan Fernandez of AEW asked Beretta if Danhausen was part of The Best Friends stable or just a follower. They made their debut on the January 26 edition of “Dynamite”, during the lights out anything goes match between Orange Cassidy and Adam Cole.
“I don’t know, I’d say follow around. He’s not a best friend, but he’s a friend of the Best Friends,” said Beretta.
Last month, Danhausen took to Twitter to tell Tony Khan that he wasn’t getting the blimp. As the CEO of AEW and ROH, it should come as no surprise that this was news to Khan. He announced during his appearance on the March 2 episode of AEW “Dynamite” that he had bought Ring of Honor, and the deal closed in May. Beretta commented on whether or not all is forgiven with Khan now.
“I hope so, because I’d like to ride in the blimp too,” said Beretta.
In last week’s rendition of “Rampage”, PAC had a singles match against Beretta for the All-Atlantic title. PAC ended up retaining his title and was assaulted post-match by Orange Cassidy. Security had to separate the two.
