Undertaker & Brock Lesnar had numerous matches with each other in WWE.
Undertaker’s mythical WrestleMania undefeated streak was ended at the hands of Brock Lesnar. Therefore, the 2 have a deep bond/feud with each other inside the WWE ring. The legends have battled it out numerous instances inside the squared circle, with a few matches being real greats while others have flopped.

One thing is positive though, and this is that those guys brought out the best in each other and constructed a feud that would last a lifetime. From struggling with one of the ‘Grandest Stage Of Them All’ to SummerSlam or even inside Hell In A Cell, those guys have fought each other everywhere.

UNFORGIVEN 2002

Lesnar became the top famous person in the WWE in a matter of months back in 2002. He became the youngest WWE Champion in history at the time and ruled all opposition on Raw. This led to him shifting to Smackdown to mission The Undertaker for the WWE Title at Unforgiven.

The match itself wasn’t lousy however it became not as precise as many of their other matches. The finishing became lazy with the double DQ setting up a rematch between the 2 to further the feud.

No Mercy 2002

The double DQ at Unforgiven resulted in the two competing at No Mercy inside Hell In A Cell. It becomes a savage match between the two hard-hitting superstars with both Lesnar and Taker being busted open.

It wasn’t a clinical wrestling match however it didn’t have to be as the brutal showing they put on was highly exciting and helped Lesnar’s appearance even more like a valid badass. After the win, Lesnar climbed the top of the cell and held up his title in an extremely good image.

No Mercy 2003

The two confronted off once again the subsequent year, once again on the No Mercy PPV. This time it was a Biker Chain Match for the WWE Title. Simply put it was a No DQ match with the individual that grabs the chain being capable of using it.

The match dragged, had an excessive amount of interference and the stipulation was quite pointless. It was essentially a filler match to further Lesnar’s title reign and set up Taker v Vince McMahon at Survivor Series.

Tag Team Match – Smackdown 2003

On an episode of Smackdown in 2003, we received a dream tag team match-up as Lesnar and Cena confronted Angle and Taker. The match itself was very enjoyable as become oozing star power.

It ended with Lesnar and Cena picking up the victory after a few brutal bumps occurred in the match, along with Lesnar and Angle taking bumps outside the ring. The match was a great way to accumulate Lesnar V Taker at No Mercy.

Two Out Of Three Falls Handicap Match – Smackdown 2003

On the Smackdown after No Mercy 2003, Taker was set to face Big Show and Lesnar in a 2 out of 3 falls handicap match. It was a way to build up his feud with Vince McMahon who desired to put the odds against him.
It was an Okay match, which led to Taker pinning both Show and Lesnar to pick up the win. However, it was sloppy and made Lesnar look vulnerable after building him up so strongly during the past year.
Triple Threat Number One Contender Match – Smackdown 2003

Lesnar and Taker battled numerous instances during 2002/2003 with a lot of the actions taking place on Smackdown. This was the exception of the numerous matches they competed in with each other on Smackdown.
It was an excessive stake main event to become the No.1 contender for the WWE Title. It was an amusing matchup among 3 massive wrestlers. With Undertaker picking up a wonderful victory to earn a spot on the WWE Title.

WrestleMania XXX

What should have been an iconic match that ended up becoming a disaster? Taker’s streak was on the line against Lesnar, his hardest opponent to date, it had all of the makings to be a real spectacle.

However, Taker unluckily suffered a concussion early in the match and was running on pure adrenaline. The match ended up being sloppy, gradual, and not anything that the fans predicted it to be. The cherry on top is Lesnar finishing the streak in that fashion.

Hell In A Cell 2015

Taker and Lesnar surely redeemed themselves in 2015 to make up for the WrestleMania catastrophe the previous year. They were capable of topping their superb match at SummerSlam with a Match of The Year contender at Hell In A Cell.

The match was really brutal with the ring boards being uncovered and Lesnar being busted open. It ended with Lesnar beating Undertaker after a 3rd F5 making both guys look sturdy and putting on an exquisite main event.

SummerSlam 2015

After dropping his WrestleMania streak in 2014 to Brock Lesnar, Undertaker took an extended hiatus from the company before making his long-awaited return. He ended up costing Lesnar his world title match to Seth Rollins by attacking him, thus, setting up their SummerSlam bout.
It was a super match that proved Undertaker still had it. It was hard-hitting, excessive and back and forth, however, the finishing was controversial. As Taker tapped out and the bell rang however the referee restarted the match and Taker made Lesnar pass out to the “Hell’s Gate” submission.
