Seth Rollins says that when it comes to WWE business right now, the company has never been better.
In 2023, things are going well for WWE. Endeavor bought the company for more than $9 billion in April. Their big shows are always near the top of the TV ratings in the key demos, attendance is much higher this year than in previous years, and tickets to both TV tapings and live events sell out quickly.
In the past few weeks, WWE broke two records. At Smackdown in London, England, they had the biggest crowd ever, and at Money in the Bank, they made the most money ever at an outdoor event.
WWE said that this month’s Smackdown, which took place at Madison Square Garden, was the highest-grossing domestic (USA) Smackdown in history. Additionally, the business stated that it was the highest-grossing WWE performance ever at MSG, which is remarkable considering the business has been visiting the venue for more than 50 years.

The next big WWE event will be SummerSlam on August 5 at Ford Field in Detroit. There will be more than 40,000 people there.
Some people might say that business has never been better in history, since this should be the most profitable year in WWE’s history because of all the TV deals they have.
But there will also be people who laugh at this claim because they were alive during the Hulkamania Era in the late 1980s, when arenas were packed, and the Attitude Era in the 1990s, when arenas were packed and TV numbers were through the roof.
Seth Rollins, who is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, recently talked to TMZ Sports about how the Hollywood strike by writers and stars could be good for WWE business because it could put Hollywood on hold for a while.
“I mean, silver lining for us, I suppose. It’s a difficult time for the actors and the writers. I believe they’re doing the right thing, asking for what they deserve. I stand by them but it is a fortunate part of not being part of a union that we are able to still perform for our audiences. People who may not be familiar, now they get an opportunity to tune in and see what we are all about.”

Seth Rollins said that WWE has “never been hotter” as he went on. He also praised the talent.
“I mean, we’ve never been hotter. Business is the biggest it’s ever been, the talent across the board is the best it’s ever been. The business is hot right now. We’re in a boom. I think when we look back on it, it’s gonna be a special time.”
At SummerSlam, Seth Rollins will fight Finn Balor for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. It was a match that was set on Raw last Monday.
