According to the most recent news, WWE Hall of Famer Kid Rock will only be at SummerSlam 2023 for the opening scenes.
At the Biggest Party of the Summer on July 30, 2022, the rapper made one of the strangest guest appearances in the company’s history. When the cameras switched to him as he sat in the audience at ringside, Kid Rock kissed the companion he had brought to the performance.
Not only that, but the 52-year-old went off script and flipped the birds at the camera, which made WWE stop the feed. For those who don’t know, Kid Rock’s song “Shakedown” was the official SummerSlam theme song last year, which is how he got on the show.
WrestleVotes said that the Hall of Famer might be a part of the SummerSlam cold open before the show on Saturday, August 5.

Kid Rock’s thoughts on getting into the WWE Hall of Fame
The 52-year-old singer was added to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 as part of the Celebrity Wing.
Kid Rock was recognised by legends like Goldberg, Ivory, The Dudley Boyz, Mark Henry, and Jeff Jarrett for his work with the Stamford-based company.

The rapper told Billboard what it meant to him to be welcomed into the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame.
“Every time I go to a WWE event I always have a good time; there is nothing like it and no better fans in the world. The Hall of Fame ceremony will be a fun night and it will be great to see everyone again. I have so much respect for what those guys and girls do. I’m grateful to WWE for letting me be a part of WrestleMania weekend.”
