WWE has been planning out the next major events as they had already planned Money in the Bank and it being held at the Allegiant Stadium which is just a few kilometers away from Vegas.

However, Money in the Bank was originally scheduled to happen in a major venue near WWE headquarters, PWInsider has confirmed that the company has decided to move it to a different venue. The event is still scheduled for July 2 between 8 and 10 PM ET but will happen at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas instead of Allegiant Stadium on April 23. The change is 74% less capacity than what they originally booked and it could kill ticket sales.

The MGM Grand Garden Arena is a 16,800-seat arena in Las Vegas with a history of hosting wrestling shows. WWE did not give an official reason for the change, but portals like WrestlingVotes have noted that it was seen as a bad idea initially. Released information that many believed to be about the new venue has been expunged from the form including advertisements starring Cody Rhodes on social media and television.

Money in the Bank will this year take place on July 2 from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Those who want to enter a pre-sale for the event can do so by using the ticket they already purchased for Money in the Bank. The scheduled date and time of Money in the Bank coincide with that of an event in UFC, hence a change of day for Money in the Bank is not ruled out.
