Impact Wrestling has just dropped a bombshell announcement, revealing that wrestling sensation Will Ospreay is set to go head-to-head with Josh Alexander at the highly anticipated Bound For Glory 2023 Fallout show on October 22. The catch? If Josh Alexander manages to defeat Alex Shelley for the coveted Impact World Championship at the Bound for Glory 2023 pay-per-view on October 21, their showdown will elevate to a world title match.
Fans of Ospreay will be thrilled to see his return to Impact Wrestling, marking his first appearance since 2016. This exciting development is set to unfold during the Bound for Glory 2023 weekend in Cicero, Illinois, and Ospreay isn’t just stopping at one match. He’s also scheduled to take on Mike Bailey in a singles bout at Impact’s flagship pay-per-view event of the year.
The last time we saw the IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion on Impact Wrestling was on the March 8, 2016, episode of the show. Ospreay was part of a memorable King of the Mountain match, competing for the now-defunct TNA King of the Mountain Championship, which, at the time, was held by Eric Young.
But the Bound for Glory 2023 card doesn’t stop there. Wrestling enthusiasts are in for a treat with a stacked lineup that includes Chris Sabin putting the Impact X Division Championship on the line against the formidable KENTA. Trinity, formerly known as Naomi in WWE, will also be defending her Impact Knockouts World Championship against none other than Mickie James.

And there’s more! The event will feature a 20-person Call Your Shot gauntlet match, with the victor walking away with not only a trophy but also a contract guaranteeing a title shot at any point within the next 12 months. Confirmed participants in this over-the-top-rope spectacle include wrestling talents like Jordynne Grace, Dirty Dango, KiLynn King, and Bully Ray.
