Kurt Angle, a WWE Hall Of Famer, has not returned to pro-wrestling since his release. However, that didn’t stop WWE from offering him a role. His career with WWE was remarkable with multiple World Title runs and amazing matches.
He has fought against the best in pro wrestling and has achieved a lot. After Wrestlemania 35, Angle was defeated by Baron Corbin in the in-ring. Angle then retired.
Kurt Angle spoke on his podcast The Kurt Angle Show. He revealed that he was returning for a three-week storyline prior to Wrestlemania 38. The storyline was canceled by WWE.
She stated:
I went to the Royal Rumble. The WWE wanted me to do a short program, which they cancelled at the last minute. My wife and I also went to documentary interviews the day prior, as well as a photo-op for the fans. But I want it to be clear that I am not signed to WWE. They would sign me anyway. It was going to be a three-week program. The show was canceled but I still have to perform the Kurt Angle Show.
