1: Women’s 2022 Money in the Bank Ladder Match
WWE Money in the Bank started off with fire, energy, and the women.
Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan have been on a victory streak, winning their matches on Monday Night Raw. Asuka and Alexa Bliss, previous winners of the contract, seemed to have an advantage.
The two women wasted no time retrieving the ladders, leaving their rivals in the ring to fight. The ladders quickly entered the fray too, as one woman started to use them on her opponents. She delivered a strong move by planting one of her opponents on the ladder and then she later threw another opponent into another ladder.
Morgan, who somehow flipped herself, managed to drop Evans with an incredible sunset flip.
A wrestler hurt a rival contestant by jumping on their ladder with a leg brace. The crowds loved the fight and chanted “This is awesome” as the fight continued.
In the last stage of the match, Lynch knocked over two ladders to take out four of her opponents. Lynch began to climb the ladder but Liv took to a smaller ladder next to her
Becky tipped the ladder and Liv got it back to an upright position with her foot. Becky kicked Liv to the canvas while she was on the ladder. Liv then climbed the rungs and got the briefcase.
2: United States Championship Match
Bobby Lashley def. Theory to win the United States Championship
The stage for a fight between United States Champion Theory and Bobby Lashley was set when the competitors had thrown baby oil into each other’ s eyes twice.
It being July 4th weekend no less, Theory and Lashley took each other to the limit with each strike and blow.
Lashley dominated throughout the opening of the match, using ring posts to his advantage and beating up Theory.
Ultimately the few attacks from Lashley were overwhelmed by the greater number of Theory attacks. Lashley then tried to use his superhuman power, but Theory’s tactics prevailed against them.
The two were even in the ring until Lashley took advantage by using a hirt lock to force Theory to tap out.
The All-Mighty captured the star-spangled title, after being able to stand in the middle of the WWE Universe and bask in the applause. The wrestler was able to win with injuries.
3: Raw Women’s Championship Match
Bianca Belair def. Carmella to retain the Raw Women’s Championship
“After Rhea Ripley proved to be no match against Bianca Belair at WWE Money in the Bank, she managed to take advantage by winning a fatal 5-way match that set up this championship bout.”
The EST of WWE was using the power that the former SmackDown Women’s Champion has, to come out on top in the match.
With a submission hold and frustrating moves, Carmella nearly made the Raw Women’s Champion tap. It became a strength vs. intelligence match- Belair’s power and strength against Carmella’s cunning and smarts. When the match was over, Carmella angrily attacked Belair, angry about her loss to her opponent.
4: Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Match
The Usos def. The Street Profits to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
Early in the match, The Street Profits did a spinebuster on Jimmy Uso, and taunted The Usos. Montez Ford gave an ode to D-Generation X.
The Usos hit a double-team move on Ford, before Dawkins came in, hit a neck breaker, and eliminated Jey from the match.
When Ford was kicked out of both a Double Superkick and Double Blockbuster, the WWE Universe went crazy.
Montez Ford gave the WWE Universe a memorable match. During the WWE Raw on Nov. 2, The Usos retained their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles over Ford, who appears to have cheated or been careless.
5: SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey def. Natalya; Liv Morgan def. Ronda Rousey to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship
This match was symbolic of each woman wanting to prove to be the best.
Wrestlers from each team were successful at submitting the others, using joint manipulation to wear down their opponents.
Rousey locked in the Ankle Lock early and sent her opponent into anger. The match became a competition of pride as Natalya furiously worked back up, but also made time to insult Rousey while she was down.
The contest at the end of the match was won by Natalya. Rousey injured her knee yet was still able to demonstrate some skill against Piper’s Pit, a move often used in training done by both Ronda and Natalya.
Rousey fought through the pain, slapped on a one-of-a-kind armbar, and forced Natalya to tap out.
Liv Morgan used the Money in the Bank contract, she had won hours ago, to attack Ronda Rousey; people could be heard screaming in the audience.
Morgan delivered a kick to Rousey’s leg, which flipped the Ankle Lock, and proceeded by rolling up Rousey for the championship.
After a tense few moments following the match, Rousey relinquished the championship to Liv, held her arm in the air, and allowed the new titleholder to celebrate her incredible night with the roaring WWE Universe.
6: Men’s 2022 Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Theory def. Drew McIntyre, Madcap Moss, Omos, Riddle, Sami Zayn, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, and Sheamus (Money in the Bank Ladder Match)
Adam Pearce announced to the people already in the ring that Theory, who was not originally planned to be involved, would be the eighth person.
Some athletes such as Omos used their height to dominate the competition. While he was eventually pushed out of the match, he still did not go down easily.
The other seven people help bury the Superstar when they saw it return with a vengeance.
With innovative offense, Riddle first pulled his ladder chair to the top of one of the ring ladders. He then jumped off the ladder onto Sheamus with a DDT and onto those people below with a Bro-Man-Drew.
The field helped Omos by throwing him back through the announcement.
McIntyre was the heavy favorite in the match but Brian played spoiler. He jumped on McIntyre’s back, letting him take a Brogue Kick from Sheamus.
Seth Rollins was knocked out from Riddle’s giant Super RKO that he pulled off the top of a very tall ladder.
The protagonist, Theory knocked Riddle off during a ladder match and nabbed the briefcase of Money in the Bank.
