Bengaluru, October 12: The Unified NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose is having a huge target on her back because of Alba Fyre (former NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray).
WWE has confirmed that Fyre will defend the NXT North American title against Rose at the upcoming “NXT Halloween Havoc” event. This announcement came after Sonya Deville, who is a former ally of Rose’s from the main roster, showed up on NXT in a surprising move. She had no idea why the crowd started cheering for her, and historians found some disturbing photos during the Woodstock Festival in 1969. She’s also had a complicated history with Smackdown superstar Jacey Jayne. After her victory over Jayne, Fyre launched an attack on Rose from backstage among smarks’ cheers.
While in NXT, Gigi Dolin stucks as a sidekick for Jayne Deville. Then, when Fyre came around, she got the chance to exact revenge on her former captor and best friend. She also noted that Rose abductes by Fyre the past week and that she’s excited to come in for the rescue. Gigi vs. Fyre will also take place at NXT next week, and next year at Halloween Havoc 2022, Crews hopefully won’t have too much trouble with Waller.
Crews is currently sporting red-eye after Waller’s attack, several weeks ago. He’ll be facing off against Waller in the WWE NXT North American Title Ladder Match at Halloween Havoc 2022. Lineup for the WWE NXT North American Title Ladder Match at Halloween Havoc 2022 also finalizes as Nathan Frazer defeated Axiom in the final of the ‘Best of Three’ series matchup and thereby the last spot at the Ladder Match, too.In week eight of NXT, Edris Enofe and Malik Blade became number-one contenders for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships.
Last night on SmackDown, Enofe and Blade defeated Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen and The Dyad (Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid) in a triple threat match while Pretty Deadly – Kit Wilson and Elton Prince – watched from the sidelines. While they had Joe Gacy tied up at ringside, Cameron Grimes made his way down to attack him but got caught in the process. Enofe used this opportunity to roll up Reid for the win. As of this writing, WWE not officially announces the title matchup but it confirmes by Halloween Havoc 2022.
Pretty Deadly has been Unified Tag Team Champions since defeating The Cred Brothers and Gallus Briggs at NXT Worlds Collide. This makes them current unified (UK) tag team champions as well, following up on their victory over Briggs and Jensen in a Fatal-4-Way match. The WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida will host the 2022 NXT Halloween Havoc live event on Saturday, October 22.
