Tonight, “WWE NXT” on the WWE Network will feature a confrontation between two rival factions. 2 rivalling groups that are currently in conflict or discord with one another will come together for some clashes.
An eight-man tag team match will be on the agenda for Tony D’Angelo and his “family” members. The opposing side will have the NXT Tag Team Champions, The Creed Brothers and their opponents, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro.
Last week, D’Angelo made an attack on two of the ‘NXT‘ superstars, Strong and Kemp. This is following a title match between them and the Creeds at Great American Bash earlier this month.
As the leader of “NXT”, D’Angelo has put Legado Del Fantasma under his control since, when he won a match. While LDF’s leader, Santos Escobar has been less enthusiastic lately before he mysteriously landed in the hospital.
In tonight’s “NXT,” Grayson Waller will be taking on Wes Lee. Waller has been getting a lot of buzz this week after tweeting a photo of when he attacked Johnny Gargano months ago. It happened back in December after Gargano delivered a heartfelt speech in what was his last appearance for WWE.
In recent months, Gargano has stayed low key. However, his wife Candice LeRae gave birth to their first child not long after he left WWE. With Paul “Triple H” Levesque recently returning to the position of Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and assuming control over the company’s creative direction, some fans are wondering if Gargano could soon return to WWE.
