On the Tuesday night episode of WWE NXT, Cora Jade threw one-half of the “NXT” Women’s Tag Team Championship on the ground in frustration. The event took place after previously undefeated tag team partner Roxanne Perez was attacked within the same match and failed to win her opportunity at “NXT” Women’s Champion Mandy Rose’s title. A week later, Jade would take away her opponent’s chance for revenge when she attacked Perez during the “Great American Bash” special, costing Perez a shot at winning the golden belt instead. After that, Jade performed her trademark attack by using her skateboard to strike her unarmed opponent twice. More creepy! Fans have now crave on what will happen to the prized tag team titles—but specifically, as they are currently still vacant due to Naomi and Sasha Banks walking out when they won it last month (on the main roster).
While there has been no official update on the status of the “NXT” Women’s Tag Team Championships from WWE, their roster list currently lists Bianca Belle as the winner of one-half of those titles. Still, with Jade removed from the list, it would appear as though this feud between Bianca Belle and Mercedes Perez will develop further. In that case, it would appear that Perez will find a new tag team partner to fill the void left by Jade. That’s assuming there’s some sort of plan for those belts going forward.
