Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer reported tonight that WWE NXT star Troy “Two Dimes” Donovan has been dismissed from the company due to policy issues.
The decision was made after a live event on Saturday night in Largo, Florida.
Melzer was told that this was a policy problem, not a budget or creative decision, and could be regained within a year. He wrote:
“This wasn’t a budget or creative decision, but a policy issue and he was told he may be brought back in a year.”
Nothing has been said yet about what was the political problem that led to his release. Donovan recently made his debut on NXT TV and was part of Tony Dangero’s family/partner alongside Channing “Stax Lorenzo”.
