Nearly 60,000 people have registered for the WWE event in Cardiff and surpassed a company record as well as making it one of their largest events.
Over 78,000 people attended the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville to see Anthony Joshua fight. The stadium’s usual capacity is 75,000 people, but it was enlarged to hold the additional supporters.
Tyson Fury, an ex-world heavyweight champion, maybe fighting Drew McIntyre for the second time at a WWE event.
Drew McIntyre had this to say on TalkSPORT, I’m still angling for that significant UK pay-per-view and I won’t shut up until it happens. Tyson Fury and I have gone back and forth for a long time. If we needed something just a little outside of the box to get people’s attention, especially in the U.K. with someone of Fury’s stature fighting Drew McIntyre in the battle of Britain, that would really draw some eyes and that’s where I’d like to see it.
In 2003, WWE‘s last event in the UK was headlined by Triple H vs. Kevin Nash at the 10,000-seater venue, The Telewest Arena in Newcastle.
