After being off WWE shows for six months, Bray Wyatt is said to be getting closer to coming back.
Sources say Wyatt is getting “closer” to being physically cleared to return to the ring, but he hasn’t been given that clearance yet.
One source told Fightful that creative plans for Wyatt have been talked about as early as September, but that doesn’t mean he will be cleared by then.
Wyatt, who was 36 at the time, was surprised to be let go from WWE in July 2021, even though he had been a three-time world champion during his first time with the company.

Wyatt disappeared from pro wrestling for more than a year after he got out of jail, but he came back in October 2022 when he appeared at Extreme Rules.
During the next few months, Wyatt did a lot of ads and worked on his new character, which was different from his Firefly Funhouse and Fiend characters.
Wyatt didn’t have his first match on TV since coming back until the Royal Rumble in January. He beat LA Knight in a Pitch Black fight.
Following that, it appeared like WWE was gearing up for a confrontation between Wyatt and Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39, but the angle was scrapped when Wyatt abruptly vanished from WWE television in February.
Wyatt hasn’t been on WWE TV since February. Without him, the company is missing one of its most interesting figures and most creative minds.

Wyatt could come back at the next big event, Payback, on September 2. This would be just a few days before the one-year anniversary of his return to the company.
