Tonight’s WWE SmackDown is promoting a unification match between AJ Styles and John Cena. This match has been anticipated for weeks and with good reason. Both men have had great matches over the past few months, and it would be exciting to see them finally team up on WWE TV.
Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle) will face the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos. This match is being promoted as “winners take all”. The match was first announced for the WrestleMania Backlash event. However, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre were later added to the match, making it a 6-man tag team contest. Reigns and The Usos went on to win the match.
Tonight’s WWE SmackDown looks to be a rather lackluster show with very few matches announced. However, if you’re looking for something to keep you entertained until the main event later this evening, then I suggest checking out RK-Bro’s challenge for a title unification match. As of now, it is the only match announced for tonight’s show and I’m sure that fans will not want to miss it.
