WWE confirmed in a recent Bump that Riddle is injured and will not be able to face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam this weekend.
On their weekly television show, WWE, it was revealed that Riddle has a brachial plexus injury or the more commonly known term of a stinger. Apparently, this means he will be out of the fight until further notice.

We have breaking news and here it is, Matt. After that attack on Riddle by Seth Rollins on Monday, Riddle has suffered a brachial plexus injury, which is a really bad stinger that has resulted in some significant weakness. As of now, he is medically disqualified until full strength returns and as a result of this, we can officially break here that Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins vs. Riddle at SummerSlam has been postponed.”
Seth Rollins ambushed the RK-Bro man during the latest edition of Raw, delivering two Curb Stomps. One of these was on the floor and the other had United States Champion’s throat across the ring steps.
At this time we do not know if Seth Rollins will be having a replacement for SummerSlam, or if he’ll miss the entire event. One year ago, Rollins lost to Edge at SummerSlam.
