With wrestling action figure reveals still going strong, Mattel may have given us a hint of what might be coming following SummerSlam.
Ringside Collectibles shared a picture of the Ultimate Edition figure of Brock Lesnar, and with him come two accessories: the WWE Championship and the WWE Universal Championship. The Ultimate Edition figure is a modern-day Brock Lesnar that comes with multiple accessories, including the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship and Universal Championship.
With a champion who no longer defends he title, “The Beast Incarnate” will be paid a second opportunity to prove his mettle against Roman Reigns in a Last Man Standing match at Nissan Stadium on July 30.
A WWE report suggests that the intention was to give Reigns the opportunity to work both “WWE Raw” and “WWE SmackDown.” However, that was obviously not the case according to a WWE report at WrestleVotes. There is suggested plans for Roman Reigns to defend his title against Randy Orton at SummerSlam, but Orton could be out of the picture for some time due to his back injury. Brock Lesnar comes in and stakes his claim immediately after Roman manages to defeat Riddle.
Two weeks ago, a babyface Lesnar made his return to “WWE Raw” and built the match against Kevin Reigns, insulting him by calling him a “hog” that is waiting to get slaughtered. Kevin Reigns is only scheduled for one episode of “Raw” this summer—the Monday before SummerSlam—when WWE heads to Madison Square Garden. Kevin will reportedly compete in tag team action.
