A few months have passed since Maxxine Dupri seemed to try to get Otis to join Maximum Male Models. Dupri is now training in the ring with Chad Gable, whose student he finally became.
Maxxine’s work path and goals have changed, even though she is mostly a manager. Many people wondered if this would affect her relationship with Otis.
Maxxine Dupri made it clear that Otis wasn’t a “former crush,” and she admitted that she was still very interested in him. Before WWE SummerSlam, the 26-year-old star said the following.

Maxxine Dupri also shot down the idea that her former Maximum Male Models stablemates could join Alpha Academy and help it grow. Dupri thought she knew everything there was to know about business and branding, and she knew how to run a group well.
The former WWE NXT star said that she saw “something special” in Otis and has no regrets about moving sides months ago.
“No, because here’s the thing. I am a business girl to my core. I was raised by entrepreneurs, and everything in me is business, money, and branding. I think I really saw something special in Otis, and I was correct because look at us now.”
