We’re only a few days away from WWE‘s most important annual event, WrestleMania, and we’ve prepared predictions for our WrestleMania 38 predictions here.
WrestleMania matches Predictions
SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos The Usos vs. Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs
Jaychele Nicole: The Usos have been in a flurry of success since they were paired together with Roman Reigns. They’re currently the longest-running SmackDown Tag Team Champions. I’m not convinced that Shinsuke Nakamura is placed in a higher position than he is currently but there’s no way this match is going to be good. (Prediction: The Usos)
Michael Reichlin: Alexa, show me filler. Nakamura and Boogs are invited to the show and The Usos receive another win. (Prediction: The Usos)
Andrew Ravens: The Usos will prevail here since it’s an extra match to see these four wrestlers on the card. If they were to make an unintentional title change to make a statement I wouldn’t be surprised however, there’s really no reason for them to do so. (Prediction: The Usos).
Raw women’s champion Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair
Andrew Ravens: This is the whole story of Belair here. A story of redemption on one of the most important stages of all. She takes revenge against Lynch over her SummerSlam loss, and they play another match in the coming months. The story is written by itself unless WWE decides to make a swerve to fulfill the intent of the purpose of a twist. (Prediction: Bianca Belair)
Jaychele Nicole: I have Bianca on my show, mainly due to the huge amount of affection I feel for her. Being aware of the way Becky Lynch was laid out during the homecoming show makes me feel a little worried of the WrestleMania match will not go with Belair winning. However, I must believe that WWE will be making up for Bianca with this victory after all that transpired at SummerSlam this year. (Prediction: Bianca Belair)
Michael Reichlin WWE took Bianca Belair dirty the last time they met at SummerSlam. Belair won the last Rumble and was crowned with her biggest victory at WrestleMania Then she was dragged back to her size SummerSlam when the real wrestler returned and took her down. WWE is rehabilitating Belair and winning against the person who shattered her in the summer of 2012 is crucial for its success of that. (Prediction: Bianca Belair).
Logan Paul and The Miz against. Rey and Dominik Mysterio
Andrew Ravens: For whatever reason, and maybe I’m missing something, however, two heelers — Paul and Miz are the most likely to win this game. I’m not sure why babyfaces don’t have the advantage to win. They are making an appropriate move and wrestling‘s history supports the theory. Paul will provide them with publicity and Miz will make a meal of the pinfall. (Prediction: Rey and Dominik Mysterio)
Jaychele Nicole: The truth is that I am super eager to see the things Logan Paul can do in the boxing ring. His video of training was pretty impressive and he’s an athlete who is naturally gifted. The story’s development hasn’t been very exciting to me, but I’m excited to see what Rey does with his costume. I would think that there will be a heel win every now and again and The Miz and Logan is a good idea to me. (Prediction: Logan Paul and The Miz)
Michael Reichlin says: I’ve set high hopes for this one. Miz And Mysterio are top pros, and they’ll take Paul as well as Dominik to a successful match. It’s up to you to say what you would like regarding Logan Paul, but he’s not one to be doing himself a disservice. He’s stated that jumping from the ropes is a “bucket list” desire of his, and he’s portrayed himself quite well on WWE TV in recent months. But, I’m still of the opinion that the Mysterios will win the feeling-good victory (Prediction: Rey and Dominik Mysterio).
Drew McIntyre vs. Happy Corbin
Andrew Ravens: McIntyre is the biggest favorite with a price of -850. Just like the bookmakers There is no way that McIntyre will lose in this match. McIntyre has been fighting against Corbin since January. It’s time to shift to something new. (Prediction: Drew McIntyre)
Michael Reichlin Drew McIntyre has been taken out of the main event and that’s how it happens often. McIntyre is suffering from neck injuries and has admitted his involvement in the Corbin conflict is not a good thing for the fighter. I believe McIntyre wins decisively and will hopefully go on to greater as well.
Jaychele Nicole is dragging on way too long. This is the game I’m not looking forward to from the entire two-night event. This game should be a decent one. It’s a must-to-be opportunity for Drew following the decline in bookings that he’s been on. I’m hoping that this game could result in an end to Baron Corbin or Madcap Moss. (Prediction: Drew McIntyre).
Edge against AJ Styles
Michael Reichlin The match I’m most eagerly looking for on the first day of WrestleMania. Two experienced pros putting it to the test. It’s clear that they are determined to steal the spotlight. Expectations are high, however, nobody is more skilled to do it better than Styles as well as Edge. There’s no obvious choice, but considering Edge at this stage in his professional career I’m sure WWE is the best choice for him. (Prediction: Edge)
Andrew Ravens: History would suggest that AJ should win the contest however, it’s actually a coin flip. Although AJ being the child who goes over makes sense since the teen would be able to get the reward, Edge has undergone a complete transformation of his character, which means it won’t be a surprise should he win. I’ll bet on AJ taking revenge. (Prediction: AJ Styles)
Jaychele Nicole: A high chance of stealing the entire weekend. Although Edge’s blue heel hasn’t been for me at the end of the day, he’s undoubtedly one of the greatest ever. I’m excited to see the layout of spots and match psychological aspects. Both players could really benefit from winning, however, due to Edge’s recent heel turn Edge is my favorite to win. (Prediction: Edge)
SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey
Jaychele Nicole: I believe this fight is Rousey’s because of her story of coming back. While the fans may not see her as a person as WWE could, she’s still a top performer at the top of the line. While the structure has been a bit sloppy. While this match hasn’t been one I’m a fan of in my own wrestling, I’m still interested in the result. To be honest I wouldn’t be upset should Charlotte take the title because I’m a more devoted fan than the majority. (Prediction: Ronda Rousey)
Michael Reichlin: Don’t make a mistake, WWE sees Ronda Rousey as a more prominent superstar than Charlotte Flair. Charlotte could be the most powerful Female talent to be found on the WWE roster however Rousey is the main attraction that will attract the company’s media attention. Also, I don’t see WWE taking Rousey back to take home the Royal Rumble and fail at Mania. (Prediction: Ronda Rousey)
Andrew Ravens: Ronda Rousey will win the bout and then become the next champion. However, in the case of the decision to apologize to Flair, everything is possible, especially in the event of a shock final. I can’t imagine it happening. In all honesty, a longer-term storyline could be a possibility if they meet once more at SummerSlam. (Prediction: Ronda Rousey).
Jaychele Nicole: I’m honestly exhausted of this Omo’s rule of terror. I’m thinking that after the repercussions of a flimsy title run that was not the fault of Omos, Lashley could use a victory. But, if Omos is a winner at the top, I would like to see them utilize him to create an impact with somebody like Bron Breaker, for instance. (Prediction: Bobby Lashley).
Sami Zayn vs. Johnny Knoxville( Anything Goes Match)
Andrew Ravens: Expect lots of mirrors and smoke in this match as that’s the sole reason why this match was made an opportunity to play. Knoxville is supposed to be treated since he’s the babyface of the world and let the fight end with the show. (Prediction: Johnny Knoxville)
Jaychele Nicole basically going to explode me. The matches are expected to be fresh and unpredictable. The “Anything Goes” stipulation made me more intrigued. I like it when stories and matches are developed through social media, and this match has captured my attention. Sami losing to Knoxville will not hurt him too significantly, and I’m betting that the fans would be cheering for a Knoxville victory. (Prediction: Johnny Knoxville)
Michael Reichlin says this should likely be one of the more “entertaining” fight that will be a part of WrestleMania Sunday. I believe that I can give Knoxville an enormous amount of credit for being “all in” in the current WWE run. He’s taken the challenge seriously and is actively making this match against Zayn by putting on a show that has received WWE media attention, including publications such as TMZ. Zayn is a legendary heel who performs at his best when he’s outsmarting and ranting. There’s a chance of him joining his Jackass crew. (Prediction: Johnny Knoxville)
Women’s Tag Team Champions Zelina Vega & Carmella vs. Sasha Banks & Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley & Liv Morgan vs. Natalya & Shayna Baszler
Andrew Ravens: Banks and Naomi should be relegated to this section because they’re the only team who can make these titles meaningful again. When Banks and Bayley fell short of the title as the champions of the first year they lost the titles. This could change in the event that Banks and Naomi become champions. (Prediction: Sasha Banks and Naomi)
Michael Reichlin: A single thing’s to be certain, to me: we’re going to see a title change. So, who will win? Rhea Ripley as well as Liv Morgan have spoken about wanting to elevate tag titles for women. Yet, Sasha Bans and Naomi are the two players who can elevate the underrated championships. (Prediction: Sasha Banks and Naomi)
Jaychele Nicole is a fan of the game and can’t wait to watch Sasha Banks & Naomi’s crowning moment in this match. I would’ve liked to have seen Sasha as a solo event and I’m excited to see her partner team up against Naomi once more. I am delighted to see many of my favorite women get to play However, I do find it difficult to fit the entire field into one single match. (Prediction: Sasha Banks & Naomi).
Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro against. Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy
Michael Reichlin Orton, as well as Riddle, are very good together. They’ve formed a dynamic. I believe that the Street Profits are more ‘due to the titles that would take them to a new level of popularity in the eyes of their fans. (Predictions: Street Profits)
Jaychele Nicole, I believe that in my opinion, it’s the ideal chance to transform RK-Bro. I’m very hopeful that they have goals for Street Profits. I’ve always been a huge fan of their team and their most recent championship run showed that they’re well-equipped to lead the league. Andrew Ravens: WWE recently gave the title to RK-Bro. I can see why The Street Profits would be great champions if WWE would like to break Orton and Riddle together however, it’s not likely since they could have worked together on this event in a singles contest in the event that this was the scenario. The champions should keep. (Prediction: RK-Bro)
Pat McAfee vs. Austin Theory
Andrew Ravens: Even with the assistance or lack of help by Vince McMahon, it’s not sensible for McAfee to lose in this instance unless WWE has plans for him to fight. Let the babyface wrestle and win. Also, it was a huge spotlight for Theory as a heel, so he won’t lose any momentum. (Prediction: Pat McAfee)
Michael Reichlin: anticipated this show mostly because of Pat McAfee. Theory is a fun proxy to Vince McMahon and he’s an extremely skilled wrestler. He’ll be able to slam across the floor and have Pat McAfee’s offensive appear like a million dollars. We can’t forget the iconic match McAfee was in with Adam Cole in NXT. McAfee isn’t a slouch either. There’s a possibility of negative having an announcer beat one of WWE’s main roster however McAfee is a major star and is sure to get his WrestleMania opportunity to shine. (Prediction: Pat McAfee)
Jaychele Nicole is an even bigger fan than many of Pat’s work in the ring. I’m super looking forward to seeing what he can pull off to compete at WrestleMania. Theory certainly has the capability of providing Pat an excellent match as the man he’s deserved. Although I love McAfee it seems like a chance that could allow Austin Theory to get a major win on a large stage. (Prediction: Austin Theory).
Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. WWE Champion Brock Lesnar(Winner Takes All-Championship Unification Match)
Jaychele Nicole is not who I’d like to be the winner. I’m actually betting on Brock because I think Reigns’ “Tribal Chief” character has become boring quickly because of the lack of progression in his character. Because I believe this is going to be Roman’s game I’m hoping they’ll save the eventual loss to a promising young star that could be taken to the moon with their win. (Prediction: Roman Reigns)
Michael Reichlin says this match is all about the marbles. This is the most important match WWE could ever stage, and I’m pleased that the company chose Lesnar. Reigns for an official WrestleMania primary event. Brock Lesnar is the most dominant wrestler ever in WWE history. He’s doing some of the most impressive work of his life, in the latest form of his ever-changing character. That said, Lesnar is here to “do business” and to give respect to men such as Roman Reigns. Reigns have been called “the person” and the company will not stop hitting that home. (Prediction: Roman Reigns)
Andrew Ravens: Roman Reigns wins this time. I’m aware that Lesnar was defeated in their previous match and, while he’s the face of the show, Reigns is the guy in the group. Simply because Lesnar is the main event’s babyface does not mean that he is the only one who needs to beat Reigns. Reigns is able to hold the title for a while longer, and WWE must make someone else stronger to beat him. Reigns are clear in his declaration to show that he is the most powerful person. (Prediction: Roman Reigns)
