Alexa Bliss & Asuka vs Doudrop & Nikki ASH (WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament First Round Match)
Asuka and Alexa are running hot on the ASH early, quickly tagging each other and double teams to knock off their heels, standing tall as we go to break.
After a commercial break, Asuka comes out to yet another undefeated streak and rocks Bliss with a pair of German suplexes! However, the hero manages to fight through the double teams and even kicks out of a crossbody from Asuka. The match then breaks down into chaos as the two women collide in a crazy attempt for the win.
The four women were all down and out, but Alexa wipes Doudrop out with a uraken, Clear the apron and Michinoku Driver score here. Asuka kick DDT out of the ring and tags back in Alexa. DDT connects for Codebreaker and Alexa rolls Nikki up for the win.
Result: Alexa Bliss & Asuka win by submission with a grounded octopus hold from Asuka on Doudrop.
Cedric Alexander & Mustafa Ali vs the Miz & Tommaso Ciampa
With Alexander and Ciampa starting, Tom gets the wrestlers in the ropes and makes a clean break. Cedric scurries away from the attack, dropping to his side and immediately doing a headlock. Alexander soon follows up with a hammerlock, with Ciampa getting up shortly after. Off the ropes, Tom drops down and lands a back body drop. A dropkick connects too!
Tag to Ali, Cedric trips Tom up, slingshot senton atomico from Mustafa! Quick tag, another senton, cover for two! Duck a handspring and we go to break.
Result: The Miz & Tommaso Ciampa wins by pinfall with Fairy Tale Ending from Ciampa on Mustafa Ali.
Drew McIntyre vs Kevin Owens
McIntyre catches Owens and forces him into the corner. KO gets slammed to the mat and then to get back at KO, McIntyre grabs a hold of his head before slamming it into the mat again. After this happens, KO escapes out of the side headlock but is still taken down by another shoulder block. KO retaliates with a moonsault for a two-count.
After being slammed by Drew, Kev cut him off with a shot to the stomach, causing McIntyre to tumble to the outside, where Owen delivers a forearm strike. He is looking for the suplex over the top rope, but Owens blocks that and grabs his neck before smashing him across the ring post with an impactful frog splash.
Result: Drew McIntyre wins by disqualification, presumably
Beaux Keller vs Veer Mahaan
It took Keller a little longer to become on his feet and then he was able to escape this situation. However, Mahaan had a good advantage and ended up defeating him
Result: Veer Mahaan wins by submission with the cervical clutch
AJ Styles vs Bobby Lashley (WWE United States Championship)
Styles stalks Lashley in the corner, picks him up on a shoulder block, AJ is looking to counter with an elbow as he uses momentum to leapfrog Lashley and dropkick him to the floor.
Lashley tried to block Styles’ apron leg, but Styles countered with a plancha forearm and the two were then on break.
Back from commercial, Lashley whips Styles back-first into the post and he crashes to the floor! Styles then follows up with a ram in the barricade support! Back inside, trading punches, leg kicks by AJ and front kicks, AJ hits a spinebuster!
Result: Bobby Lashley wins by pinfall with the spear to retain the WWEUnited States Championship.
Dakota Kai vs Dana Brooke
Kai counters with a kick to the leg followed by two arm drags, reversing Brooke’s whip into the corner. Dakota then kicks Brooke in the head and falls to the mat, but is able to take control of Brooke in the turnbuckles!
Result: Dakota Kai wins by pinfall with the corner boot.
Austin Theory vs Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler in and looking for the sleeper, bodyscissors, Theory gets away, fighting from mount with punches, a wicked elbow rocks Dolph! Austin grinding him down, posting him, choking him in the ropes! Ziggler with the DDT, posting Theory now. Austin delivering right hands in the corner and then trying a variation of his X-Factor. Theory kicks out and we go to break.
Result: Austin Theory wins by pinfall with the TKO.
