According to reports, Charlotte Flair is planning to marry Andrade El Idolo during Memorial Day weekend later in the month.
According to Dave Meltzer, Wrestling Observer Radio [h/t Bhupen Dange] of Ringside News, Charlotte and Andrade will marry sometime during the holiday.
Flair and Andrade started dating in February 2019, when they were both working for WWE. They announced their engagement on January 1, 2020, just a year later.
Also known as “The Queen,” Flair is an eight-time Raw women’s champion and she is a six-time SmackDown women’s champion and a twice NXT women’s champion and a one-time Divas champion, and once WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion which makes her the most decorated female athlete of all time in WWE history.
Andrade is a native of Mexico. He was raised in Mexico He earned a name in his home country and in Japan before joining WWE in the year 2015.
Andrade was invited to join the roster for the year 2018 and played in the United States Championship once. However, he requested his release in March 2021 and was granted.
Charlotte lost her SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey during the I Quit match at WrestleMania Backlash last weekend. She was revealed in a press release by WWE that she was suffering from a fractured radius within her arm.
The theory is that WWE invented the storyline injury to keep Flair off the television so that she could get ready for her wedding.
