A WWE official apologized for an over-the-top performance on the most recent episode of SmackDown.
At the Black Friday edition of SmackDown, Charles Robinson officiated the main event bout between The Usos and Drew McIntyre and Sheamus of RAW’s team. No one was nominated, so the winner emerged from a decision after a hard-earned match. In the end, Sheamus and McIntyre were declared winners, securing both teams’ WarGames advantage for their Survivor Series match.
Robinson received criticism after his performance in the match as he could be seen making many comical faces and reacting like a cartoon character. Taking to social media, the veteran referee apologized for his over-the-top behavior by calling it “silly.”
