Yuva Kabaddi Series is India’s first year-round sports tournament. Every Indian has a story to share about Kabaddi and many people resonate with this sport. That is the premise for the Yuva Kabaddi Series which uses the premise of people sharing their stories with events such as these.
The tournament has a little experience under its belt, but its focus on youth will provide them the opportunity to grow and take advantage of each other’s strengths. For example, students from the same academies are competing against one another for the chance to make themselves known.
The proposed year-round sports tournament will be possible as the game is planned to take place over multiple editions in the same year. The summer edition will be the first of these editions.
A Kabaddi series for the first summer event of 2022 is starting in Jaipur, Rajasthan on Saturday. The two teams competing are Maratha Marvels vs Aravalli Arrows.
Round 1 of the tournament would be a survival round, where a total of 45 matches are slated to be played across 9 days, wherein there will be 11 teams with more than 150 players battling it out against each other. Out of these, 8 teams will qualify for the next round.
The first summer edition of the Yuva Kabaddi Series will kick off in Jaipur, India on Saturday, 28th May 2022 with Maratha Marvels taking on the Aravalli Arrows.

Matches are conducted every day, at 10:00 AM, followed by 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM, and 8:00 PM.
Prizes: The team with the highest score would win 20,000 rupees ($A340) from the prize pool, with 1st and 2nd place winning 10,000 and 5,000 respectively.
