Aaron Rodgers’ Flag Football Charity Raises $3M, Fuels Olympic Speculation
New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has hit a philanthropic home run, raising a staggering $3 million through a recent flag football tournament aimed at supporting charitable organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club of America. The tournament, organized by RX3, a venture firm co-founded by Rodgers, saw participation from several NFL stars, including Josh Allen and DK Metcalf.
Rodgers, known for his prowess on the football field, showcased his philanthropic side, expressing excitement about the substantial funds raised and the causes they will benefit. “We’ve raised a lot of money for great causes, and I’m excited to see where we can take it,” said Rodgers, highlighting the impact of the charity event.

Nate Raabe, the co-founder and managing director of RX3, echoed Rodgers’ sentiments, emphasizing the annual growth in donations and the awareness generated for their portfolio companies through such events.
This isn’t the first time Rodgers and RX3 have teamed up for a charitable cause. Last year, they secured around $150 million from investors, counting renowned athletes like Josh Allen and Michael Phelps, as well as entertainers like Christina Aguilera among their supporters.
However, beyond the realm of charity and football, Rodgers is eyeing an even grander stage – the Olympics. With flag football gaining popularity and set to debut as an Olympic sport in 2028, Rodgers hinted at the prospect of NFL players, including himself, representing the United States. “Who knows? It could be part of the next chapter in my football career,” he remarked, leaving fans intrigued about the possibilities.
On the football front, Rodgers is not resting on his laurels. Despite turning 40 and entering his 20th NFL season, he is gearing up for action with the Jets after recovering from a left Achilles tendon injury that sidelined him last year. His swift return to practice just 11 weeks post-surgery surprised many, showcasing his determination and resilience.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh expressed confidence in Rodgers’ progress, noting his active participation in offseason training activities. “The guy can still sling it,” Saleh remarked, acknowledging Rodgers’ ongoing rehabilitation and the positive trajectory of his recovery.
Rodgers’ return to the Jets is a significant boost for the team, especially after struggling offensively in his absence last season. Fans are eagerly anticipating his return to the field, hoping that his leadership and skills will propel the Jets to victory.
