A legendary trick is revealed
Professional wrestling is an exciting sport where drama and mystery are commonplace. On Friday Night SmackDown, there was a twist that shocked and thrilled fans. Although AJ Styles is known for having unmatched skills in the ring, he pulled off a brilliant trick on the May 31st show that left Cody Rhodes and the viewers stunned.
A Thoughtful Look Back
As the episode went on, AJ Styles stole the show by telling a story that made fans all over the world cry. Styles painted a moving picture of a wrestler who was pulled between his family duties and his unwavering love for the sport as he thought back on his long and eventful career and his son’s upcoming graduation. It was an honest moment of feeling that showed some of the personal problems that come with the fame and thrills of professional wrestling.
How shocking things turned out to be
But just as the crowd started to believe that Styles was telling the truth, the mood changed drastically. Styles called out Cody Rhodes with great accuracy, supposedly to thank him for the recent fight at WWE Backlash France. But Styles attacked Rhodes quickly and hard, ending with a crushing Styles Clash that echoed from the steel steps to the mat below. This move sent shockwaves through the arena.

A Nod to the Past of Wrestling
Styles’ lie had a lot in common with the fake retirement of WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, which is a famous event in wrestling history. Henry’s emotional goodbye in June 2013 wowed the crowds, but his surprise World’s Strongest Slam stunned everyone. Now, when Styles wore a light blue jacket that looked like Henry’s famous salmon pink outfit, it made a new group of fans think of the past.
Mark Henry’s Strong Approval
Following Styles’ risky move, Mark Henry himself went on social media to praise “The Phenomenal One” for his performance. In a short but powerful message, Henry praised Styles and said that he thought the execution was brilliant.
