Tiffany Stratton, the emerging star of WWE NXT and former NXT Women’s Champion, made her main roster debut at the 2024 Royal Rumble, marking a significant moment in her young career. In a recent episode of “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” Stratton opened up about her nerves leading up to her debut and how the experience helped shape her trajectory within WWE.
Facing the Royal Rumble Nerves
Stratton’s journey from NXT to the main roster is a remarkable story, but with it came a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. The Royal Rumble provided a unique opportunity for Stratton to introduce herself to the broader WWE audience, but it also meant stepping onto a much larger stage.
“I was extremely nervous for the Rumble. I just feel like … I don’t know, it’s the first time that the main roster fans kind of got to see me and I was kind of worried nobody was going to know who I was, coming from NXT, and it was awesome,” she said.
Stratton admitted that performing in front of a larger crowd than she was accustomed to made her anxious, yet the experience was pivotal in propelling her career forward. The support she received from fans in the arena helped calm her nerves and gave her the confidence to keep pushing forward.

The Crowd Reaction and Transition to the Main Roster
Despite her initial worries about how the audience would react, Stratton found herself pleasantly surprised by the warm reception she received. The Royal Rumble served as her introduction to the main roster, and the energy of the crowd exceeded her expectations.
Stratton shared that the moment was both exciting and surreal, especially when she heard fans chanting “Tiffy Time.” She said, “I was very shocked. Actually, I think there’s a video of me in the little pod, of me being like, ‘What the heck, are they chanting Tiffy Time?’ I was beyond shocked because I’m the rookie in this match, I’m like, ‘Do they even know who I am?’ But it was so amazing.”
After her debut at the Royal Rumble, Stratton’s momentum continued to build. She participated in the women’s Elimination Chamber match at the Premium Live Event in Perth, Australia, for a shot at the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania XL. Although Becky Lynch ultimately won the match, Stratton’s performance left a lasting impression on the fans and her peers.
